It was our first time trying their Hong Kong–style menu today. We came as a group of ten, and the total bill was just a bit over $200 — very reasonable! Food highlights: 1. Deep-fried king oyster mushrooms – Crispy and flavorful, definitely a highlight. 2. Pan-fried chicken with black pepper spaghetti – The black pepper sauce has a nice kick, the chicken is crispy, and the spaghetti is cooked just right. 3. Unagi omelette rice with teriyaki sauce – The teriyaki sauce is on the stronger side, but overall the combination works well. 4. Baked curry beef brisket rice – Super fragrant and generously portioned. 5. Iced milk tea with grass jelly – Loved that the ice is made from tea, so the flavor stays rich as it melts. The grass jelly portion is more than the milk tea, I prefer more milk tea, and it’s nice that the syrup is served separately so you can adjust the sweetness yourself. 6. Ice cream with coke – Pretty standard. 7. Spicy fish balls – The sauce is flavorful and spicy, but the fish balls themselves could be more seasoned. 8. Soy milk udon with chicken steak – A creative combo that actually works well. 9. Deep-fried squid – Presentation looks a bit unusual, and the taste is just average. Overall, the food is tasty, prices are fair, and the menu offers a great variety. Would definitely come back again!
We came here for lunch and one of my favorite is definitely the soy milk udon, the broth has lot of aroma and not too salty. The omelette rice is also great too, their cutlet is juicy too. Very good experience and will be back.
My friends and I dined at Oceania Tuesday night for their AYCE shellfish special. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be - there were only a few other tables while we were there. Our "plan of attack" was to order one of everything so that we could try each dish and then reorder the ones we liked most. Our favorites were the fresh oysters, tempura oysters and black bean clams. We enjoyed the bread as well and ordered a second loaf. The portion sizes were decent and as a table of 4, we only had to order a few more dishes to be full. I gave the restaurant 4 stars because the pasta dishes could have used more sauce while the mussels and clams could have benefited from more flavor. Otherwise, the service was exceptional - our server was pleasant and the dishes came out quick. It was my birthday celebration, so they also offered me some complimentary chocolate cake, which was a very nice surprise.
Tell us what you ordered and what it cost. Two or three sentences about one dish is more useful to the next person than a star rating.
